Cookie policy.
This policy explains the small amount of browser storage used by Deniable and how you can control optional analytics.
1. What cookies and similar storage do
Cookies are small files or browser values that help a website remember information. Deniable uses the narrowest practical approach: authentication and security storage are necessary for the service, while analytics is optional.
2. Essential storage
Essential cookies or browser storage support sign-in sessions, account security, rate-limit protections, and your cookie preference. They are not used to build advertising profiles. The consent preference is stored locally so we do not ask on every page.
3. Google Analytics
Google Analytics is loaded only after you select “Accept analytics”. It helps us understand aggregate page visits and improve the website. IP anonymisation is enabled. You can reject or withdraw this choice at any time from Cookie settings.
4. Your choices
You can reject optional analytics in the banner or change your choice later in Cookie settings, which is also linked in the footer. Blocking essential storage in your browser may prevent authentication and other core features from working.
5. Third-party information
Google may process analytics data under its own terms and policies.
